"Because I whiled away my youth there, I am always interested in hearing what's up with New Jersey's sub underground. This comp has a bit of that, plus tracks by a few out of state colluders. Human Adult Band, Alice Fawn and Rooftop Garden are among the former. The latter includes Reynols, People Skills and Max Nordile. From Alice Fawn's echoey folk speak to Reynols's delirious swirl of splooge to Joe+N's Velvetsoid guitar spiraling, this sampler should make any Garden Stater proud."
